Computer Problems! FIXED

Oh man what a week! My laptop power cable broke and I had to get a new one. Thank God for warranties, right? So they told me it might be backordered and i might not receive it for 2 weeks! However, it just came in today. I was so happy.

Now, as far as my desktop, my network adapter is a piece of crap. It cuts out every 5 minutes and i have to "repair" it.

Anyways, im glad to be back and blogging!

Fireworks for Taboo

I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July! I did'nt get to see any fireworks which I would have loved to do but it rained! However, my boyfriend's sister suggested we play taboo, and I actually had alot of fun! We ate london broil, potato salad, cole slaw, macaroni salad, canolis, ice cream, neaopolitans and so much more. I absolutely love hanging out with his family.

However, the mets lost. All I ask is that that they win. Why does this seem like a difficult concept for them?!

Crazy Cricut Creativity

I just HAD to share this. Vacation Bible School is this Monday and I don't know about everyone else but I am SO not prepared.

Let me backtrack, before my trip to Target, the cricut I ordered came in. SCORE! So, I used it on a new fourth of july layout of last year of my puppy when he went to his first parade. Poor thing was scared to death but he made it through alive.

So I get a phone call from my friend saying lets get together Saturday and work on getting everything ready. So i'm asking her what we need to do and she said we need to make two posters that say "Welcome Race Fans" and "Pitstop Snacks". So the wheels in my head started turning. Why not use the cricut?

So I made these awesome 8 inch letters with a black shadow background and in white lettering. What were going to do now is color the white letters in to be checkered black and white. How awesome is this machine?! It just saved me from writing all this out with my crappy handwriting.

Target Dollar Deals

Well, according to the forum Target has put out new things in their dollar deals section. Now I was there a few days ago and they had everything at 75% off. So in my sheer excitement ran over to Target today to see if they had put out anything new.

When I got there they had only put out half of the new stuff and still had some aisles at 75% off. However I did purchase some very good things.

I bought some letter sized pocket file holders, in hopes of organizing my stickers. I also bought a smaller one for coupons to keep in my purse. Also, a black wire mesh basket for small things on my desk; 1 black and 1 white magnetic boards to put on my wall; and a black and white flower wall out to match.

I'm comparison shopping for a digital camera right now too since mine broke. The one I really want is $500! YIKES! I could buy 5 different cartridges for my cricut for that much. I might have to aim lower.

Anyways, tomorrow should be rather relaxing! Happy 4th of July everyone!

An Accomplished Day

Well, Today I managed to accomplish multiple tasks! SHOCKING!

I know..I know. Trust me. I am beside myself.

I managed to get all of my work done today in a reasonable amount of time and have time to scrap a little song lyric to my boyfriend as well as create a layout for a scrap challenge on the forum. Also, I went to my financial peace class. As a scrapper, trust me. It is very much needed, I can't tell you how many times I consider taking out a loan just so I can buy a pazzle and the works.

Tomorrow should be equally rewarding as well. I need to run over to the mall and do a couple of errands and then pop on over to target to see their new selection of dollar deals. As well, I need to coordinate with a friend on this years VBS.

I'll keep everyone posted as to any good finds tomorrow. Heck, its Thursday and the thrift store in town is open! All sorts of crazy stuff could happen!
